Lol there’s really no foolproof method, but I do feel like natural consequences usually work best for my boys and probably toddlers in general. They want to touch everything, try everything, climb everything, and learn by doing. Telling them “no” a hundred times rarely sticks the way actually experiencing the outcome does. Most of the time it’s not about punishment, it’s about letting them connect the dots. I fell because I was goofing off on the couch. The cup spills because it was tipped. The toy breaks because it was thrown. Toddlers love to experiment, and when we let safe, natural consequences play out, it gives them real understanding instead of just rules. It’s messy, it takes patience, but it usually ends with lessons that actually last! How do you feel about natural consequences with toddlers? #baby #toddlerlife #toddlermom #motherhood #parenting
